Vallnord Bike Park
The Vallnord bike park located in near by Pal is widely regarded as one of the best in southern Europe. The resort caters for cross country, downhill, and BMX enthusiasts and is one of the official cicuits of the ATB world cup. As well as the courses listed above they also have a bike trial area, wood park and a childrens area making it great for families.
The mountain biking resort is made up of 2 green runs, 6 blue, 7 red and 2 black, giving a good range to suit all abilities. These are serviced by 1 cable car and 2 chair lifts. For biking enthusiasts this resort is definately worth a look, for everyone else there are plenty of other activities to keep you entertained.
Other Summer Activities
Andorra may be a small country, but it also has a very small population. This has enabled them to keep many areas of their beautiful surroundings unspoilt. There are some truely spectacular views along the hiking, trekking and driving routes around Arinsal. Horse riding is also very popular here giving access to areas further off the beaten track. For the less energetic people out there the duty free shopping and excellent spa facilities in Andorra La Velle are just a short bus journey away.
Arinsal is a great location for a family summer holiday, an adrenaline filled week away or a romantic break in the mountains. There are a number of tour operators that can arrange short breaks for you if you prefer not to book everything yourself.
